Full Spectrum Perinatal Support
I am a Radical Birth Doula and the founder of Q4Q Perinatal Network. My practice is founded on the knowledge that the power to choose what’s right for your body doesn’t end when pregnancy begins. From conception to postpartum, I use a holistic, trauma informed approach to ensure that people of all backgrounds, bodies and identities can feel seen, heard and respected. I am an Informed Choice Advocate.
I chose to become a doula after numerous experiences with medical discrimination. Because of my queer and transgender identity, I was not able to get emergency reproductive care I needed. This discrimination cost me thousands of dollars and left me in pain for months. I realized that if I had had just one person in the room who supported me, I would have been more able to advocate for myself and could have radically altered if not avoided the incidents entirely.
More importantly, as a doula, I have committed my life to being that person and providing that support for others. From abortion and loss support to home births, planned c-sections and beyond, I will stand with you. I am here for the ones who are tired of fighting and who will never stop fighting.
“Early in my pregnancy I experienced preterm labor symptoms and called Jamie for help. Jamie guided me on next steps, met me at the hospital and really helped keep me calm and informed by explaining what was happening to me (in language that I understood).
Jamie’s consistent check-in leading to the delivery day kept me feeling confident, prepared and knowledgeable.I feel very fortunate that I was able to have Jamie in the room during my c-section (especially during the major COVID restrictions), keeping me informed with what was going on, being my cheerleader, and holding my hand when my husband had to focus on our son who experienced complications during the delivery.
Jamie was the best support I could have ever hoped for." -T. & S.

I believe that every birthing person should have doula.
I am happy to offer sliding scale fees to people in the following categories: BIPOC parents, LGBTQ parents, single parents, teen parents, families where both parents are full time students, and people who are unemployed or underemployed - or any other situation I haven’t thought of.
Please let me know if you fall into one of these categories and what your budget is for a doula and we can come up with something that works for you. If not, I also offer installment plans and accept credit cards to accommodate need.
